The album that confirmed in no uncertain terms the abundant talent and energy of UK MCs. The music of the 'mic' men does not always date well, but Philip Levi's "Mi God Mi King" stands as a true classic of the genre, while contributions from the likes of Smiley Culture, Peter King and Asher Senator show why UK MCs were - for a while - causing more excitement then their Jamaican counterparts.

Smiley Culture - Slam Bam (3:08)
Papa Levi - Mi God Mi King (4:03)
Asher Senator - Fast Style Origination (3:42)
Peter King - Me Neat Me Sweet (2:42)
Macka B - A Gentleman With Manners (3:29)
Smiley & Asher - It's Coming Down (3:27)
Papa Benjie - Fare Dodger (3:39)
Pato Banton - Nice Up The Session (3:21)
Papa Face & Bionic Rhona - To The Bump (2:59)
Laurel & Hardy - You're Nicked (3:47)
