thanks i saw this on amazon wondered what it sounded like but couldent find any tracks... DOES ANYONE HAVE YOUNG GARNET SILK?? I THINK HE WENT BY BIMBO.. PLEASE JAH BLESS
I have an album in my hard drive archives called 'Bimbo aka Garnet Silk - Hits Singles' It's got 11 tracks and can't find any information about it at all, no cover or anything. I found this bio of him with no mention of the LP http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=134221678816&topic=13406
His first recording supposed to be 'problem everywere' for Delroy 'Callo' Collins. After that he voiced for Sugar Minotts Youth Promotion one song, 'No Disrespect'. after that he recorded for King Tubby, King Jammy, Penthouse and Steely & Clevie with whom he recorded his first album. So the the LP is probably a compilation of older 45's or some never released tape from one of the former producers, listening to the riddims should point you the way...
